A very strong typhoon No.16, Malakas, is approaching Kyushu, the southernmost of the four main islands in Japan.
According to the Japan meteorological agency (JMA), it may hit Kyushu from late night of Sep.19 to early dawn of Sep.20, passing through western Japan on the Pacific side on Sep.20 and eastern Japan on the Pacific side on Sep.21.
Watch out for the storm, high waves and heavy rain.
